The former Isle of Man ferry Manxman (built 1955) seen in a very sad state at Pallion shipyard Sunderland 18/03/10. She has been here since the mid 90s but was only moved into the shed in the last couple of years because she took on water a few times whilst out in the river Wear. I preservation attempt recently failed as Peel Port refused to give her a berth nearer home on the Mersey. Scrapping now awaits this old girl.
