Description:
Elder Dempster passenger cargo liner Apapa arriving at Las Palmas. One of a pair, the other being Accra, completed in 1947 for the West African service. Having served Elder Dempster until 1968 she was sold to Shun Cheong Steam Navigation Company, Hong Kong, for its liner service between Hong Kong, Singapore and Penang. She went to Taiwan breakers in 1978.
