Keel laid on 04/02/1977, launched on 08/10/1977 and completed on 14/03/1978 by Saint John Shipbuilding, East St. John, New Brunswick, Canada (1119) 19,656 g.t. & 30990 dwt., as:-
‘Etrema’ to 1994,
‘Rosa’ to 1999,
‘Rosa T.’ to 2002,
‘Pontos’ to 2003 &
‘Atlantica 1’ until sold to Bangladesh for demolition.

Arrived at Chittagong on 12/07/2006.
Beached & work began on 25/08/2006.
