"Evelyn Maersk" in the shipping lane out for Sletterhage Lighthouse in the Aarhus Bay/Denmark, on the way to Aarhus harbor. The channel is about 45m deep and so close to shore, that you feel you can touch the ship, which draws many people to the lighthouse.

Excellent photo Bendt...."you can almost touch the ship" indeed. These modern container ships never cease to amaze me: How they stay upright...(not my department!)Some deride them as Box-Ships..&.Ugly,
But for me they have a natural grace, far in excess of those so-called passenger ships of today.
I know which I would rather 'cruise' on. This photo makes me ache for the sea. Thanks Bendt.
