This "Radio Station" basically consists of two identical transponders either side of the battery charging panel..(two, in case one is faulty)...should the ship find itself in a "S.O.S." situation...all that is required is the pressing of the red button....and all are saved!
(Thunderbirds are GO!)The "Red Button" is duplicated several decks below in the ships office.
I'm sure any REO's reading this can elaborate further...it's all long after my time as a Key-Basher I'm afraid!
