I watched her leaving Cape Town for the last time in 1978. A sad sight to see such a beautiful ship pass into history. Certainly a lot better than the box shaped ships they are building now most of which are pretty much identical.

She were really a very elegant sea beauty :o)

Together with the dear old Dwarka, this ship was the last of the real British liners.
