Description:

Photograph of the Clan Line cargo vessel "Clan Robertson" docking in Liverpool in 1956. I have no more detalis of the ship and would appreciate any more information anyone has.
She had a successor with the same name built in 1964 and managed by Clan Line but owned by Union Castle.

Stocky, thank you very much for the full history of the Clan Robertson, now I have it I have found a long passage about her in the book "Safmarine a Fleet History" by W J Harvey & C R Mackenzie. I am most greatful that you took the trouble to post the answer to my query.
