A great photo of a great ship. In fact this ship was one of the corner stones of the Eletson Maritime Corp. The vessel has been bought in autumn of 1972 en bloc with LIFJORD to Arginusae Maritime Corp. (Eletson Maritime, Piraeus, Greece), and renamed MARIA T. and VASSILIS respectively Eletson partners Vassilis Hadjieleftheriadis and Stavros Tsonis had set up the company in 1966 with a couple of small older general cago ships. In late '70s Stavros Tsonis departed the company and Eletson controlled by Hadjieleftheriadis brother plus brothers in law Capt Eric Kertsikoff and Capt John Karastamatis, master mariners with Onassis and NJ Goulandris respectively.
