Description:

USS Fitzgerald (DDG62) collided with the Filipino container ship ACX Crystal off Japan coast at 2:30AM on June 17th, 2017. After undergoing some temporary repairs in Yokosuka Base, this US Navy destroyer is now preparing for a trans-pacific transport for the final repairs in USA. Seen here aboard Transshelf, a Dutch super heavy lift vessel, relocating from the berth prior to the arrival of aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). It's so rare and interesting sight, but I hope we'll never see this again... R.I.P to the fallen seven crew members.
