US Navy Arleigh Burke Flight IIA Class Guided Missile AEGIS equipped destroyer returning to Norfolk Naval Base in the morning going west past Fort Monroe Hampton VA - Old Point Comfort.
She is returning from a seven month independent deployment that she departed on May 23rd 2017 for.
During this visit she visited ports in Crete, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Ukraine.
She also participated in exercises in the Baltic and in the North Atlantic while operating under the command of both the 5th & 6th Fleets.
