Edson - that's the same one. AFONSO PENA was sold by the Navy at auction in 2003.

The red vessel in that dock, isn't it a former polar research/supply vessel, similar to IMO 7414119?

Some times ago one of this ex-dock ship was repaired an put on service at MacLaren shipyard.

So far as I can see, only one of this ARD type went to Brazil. ARD 14 > CEARA > AFONSO PENA (G 25)
