Edson - that's the same one. AFONSO PENA was sold by the Navy at auction in 2003.

So looks as if bought by the next-door STX Offshore - but not certain what has happened there after STX's bankruptcy

So far as I can see, only one of this ARD type went to Brazil. ARD 14 > CEARA > AFONSO PENA (G 25)

It's possible ... The US Navy sold a lot of these dock ships to Latin American countries after the 2nd world war.
