Sevmorput now appears to have developed serious mechanical problems. Currently sailing zig-zag off Angola.

Yes Ralph, you and I and most of the old time members know about the problem re the "additional Information" but the new members must feel frustrated seeing this old info whish is totally outdated.
thanks and regards

Hi Emmanuel, the problem is that the database supporting the additional information was discontinued a long time ago. Therefore that information is outdated. At some point, the plan was indeed to scrap the SEVMORPUT, but this never happened.

Additional status says she is "dead" but this photo was taken in October 2020.Better scrap the Additional information as it is being confusing things not helping. Or has the ship been brought back to "life" after laid off.

Thanks, rd77. Yes, they do seem new. Her reactor recently also received a life extension until 2024, as reports suggest.
