The SD14 type AN DONG JIANG is here seen at Singapore on 24th August 2006

Built in 1979 by Austin & Pickersgill, Sunderland, as BRONTE for Lamport & Holt Line, she was sold at Liverpool in 1983 after a period laid up.

Named AN DONG JIANG by China Ocean Shipping Company, based at Guangzhou, she was transferred in 1990 to the Maltese flag and renamed SAFE STAR.

In 2003 she returned to the flag of the People's Republic of China and the name of AN DONG JIANG under the ownership of COSCO Southern Asphalt Shipping, and then in 2004 under the ownership of Yianjin COSCO Shipping Co. Ltd., still of Guangzhou.

She finally arrived at Xinhui on 2nd November 2010 for breaking after trading for a short period as JIN CHENG XIN 8
