Interesting, that's how I read about it regarding HERMOD. It wasn't said about BALDER having initially 2 retractable azimuth thrusters at the front. Makes me wonder, were they removed back in 2001 during retrofit, or 7 more thrusters were added beside them? And how would all they be placed on that floaters? 7, not 6 or 8.

Th eoriginal configuration was indeed with one CP propeller at the backside of each floater. And a retractable azimuth thurster at the front of each floater.
Positioning when working at sea was done with 12 anchors (3 at each corner).

Great stuff, Marc! So if I understand correct, originally she had only 2 of these CP propellers in rotating nozzles & then in 2001 there were 7 azimuth thrusters added.
