Vitse-Admiral Paromov is one of a new series of small-ish replenishment vessels of the Russian navy (project 03182). Initially, four ships are reported to be built, two at Nizhny Novgorod for the Black Sea fleet and two at Vladivostok for the Pacific fleet. The ships can carry liquid and dry cargo as well as passengers. Naval capabilities reportedly include fuel transfer at sea and reconnaissance duties via drones. Also, the vessels can operate in ice conditions (0.6-0.8 metres).
