Liberian tanker WORLD SUMMIT is here seen on a passage through Strait of Malacca in april 1991.
This tanker was built 1974 at Kockums, Malmö, as PACIFIC SUN for the american oil company Sun Oil Co. She sailed under Liberia-flag, and was of 260 064 t.dw.
In 1979 she was sold to the Hong Kong based World Wide Shipping Agency, and was named WORLD SUN, still carrying Liberian flag. In 1986 she was renamed WORLD SUMMIT.
End came 31.07.1992, when she arrived at Karachi to be broken up at Gadani Beach.
