Liberian ore carrier CAVALA is here seen at Philadelphia in July 1980.
She was delivered in January 1956 from Daniel K. Ludwig's National Bulk Carriers, Kure yard, as ORE CONVEY for Universe Tankships Inc, Liberia. She was equipped with a conveyor system for self-unloading.
In 1969 she went to other Liberian-flag owners, and was then renamed CAVALA.
On 27/4-1983 CAVALA arrived at Kaohsiung for demolition, which commenced 11/5-1983.
