Description:
The Gothenburg based Adolf Bratt had taken delivery at Bruges in March 1957 of a new GERTRUD BRATT, the 1927 ship of that name having been torpedoed on 24th September 1939 on an identical voyage, from Gothenburg to Bristol with a cargo of woodpulp.
GERTRUD BRATT was a regular visitor to Bristol's City Docks, for example calling on 30th July 1963, and is here seen passing Portishead, inbound for Bristol, on 19th March 1967.
