Description:

Halfdan Ditlev-Simonsen of Norway's 1973 Gijon built container ship VENABU, which was lengthened in 1974 and purchased in 1989, in the Manchester Ship Canal at Ellesmere Port on 30th August 1990.

What are those wires hanging between 2 masts behind the funnel & spread apart by several rings?
Have seen it on some 70s-80s ships, have seen it also on land-based poles with those rings on wires in between.
But just can't figure out how they are called to know what to search for.

First I noticed them on NEFTEGAZ-51 when she was on repairs in my city in 2001 - here on these photos they can be seen between the masts:
