Wilh. Wilhelmsen of Oslo's TEMPLAR (IMO 5183510) was built at Kiel in 1929.
She served the German Navy between 1940 and 1945 as SPERRBRECHER 17
She was sold in 1961 to Franco Shipping of Athens and renamed KATERINA and arrived at Shanghai for breaking on 20 January 1972
For her penultimate voyage, from Chittagong to Calcutta in December 1971, she was escorted by the Indian Navy.
