Description:

Coming back from Antwerpen September 1983 she was torpedoed by an inland barge near Ellewoutsdijk and grounded to avoid sinking.
Repaired in Vlissingen.
Tugs on her starbord site are ZEELAND, ZWITSERLAND and MULTRATUG 4

What does it mean "torpedoed by inland barge"? Was it a collision or was the barge armed with a torpedo and some kind of accident happened?
