I photographed the Greek cargo liner KRONOS while she was anchored on Dubai roads in August 1977.
This vessel was built 1967 by IHI, Aioi as JAPAN TOTARA for Japan Line Ltd, and was of 9612 t.dw.
It was earlier in 1977 that she became Greek KRONOS.

She grounded 31.12.1984 outside Jeddah. The wreck was later sold to Pakistani breakers, who commenced work at Gadani Beach in 9.1986. She was sold to breakers via U.A.E. owners, who had renamed her SALMAN.
