British LINGUIST is here seen while sailing down the Mississippi River in November 1976.
This vessel was built 1966 by Lindholmens Varv, Gothenburg, for Thos. & Jas. Harrison (Harrison Line) of Liverpool.
Sold 1980 to Singapore and renamed BANGPLEE, sold again in 1981 to Peru and renamed UNISOL.
07.12.1983: Broke moorings while loading at Chandler, Canada, caused by strong wind and heavy swell. Swept ashore and became total loss.
