Description:
Greek ATLANTIS STRENGTH is here seen at Hartlepool in July 1981. According to locals she was under arrest.
This vessel was built 1969 by Hayashikane Zosen, Nagasaki for owners in Taiwan.
Her history:
1969: Delivered as TSEN HSING (Taiwan)
1974: TSEN HSING (Liberia)
1977: EURCO STRENGTH (Greece)
1981: ATLANTIS STRENGTH (Greece)
1981: HARRY D (Greece)
1983: ANGETIMOR (Panama)
1985: ALIOTH (Malta)
1989: SAN JOSE II (Panama)
1990: FENIX (Honduras)
1992: RIO RAPEL (Honduras)
5/6-1992: Grounded in Chile. Refloated 2 months later, and brought to Valparaiso for repair. Works completed in 1993, but grounded again 13/4-1993 at Valparaiso. Later broken up "in situ".
