She is the former Dutch light cruise de Ruyter. Keel laid in 1939. Part of the dutch NAvy together with her sister de Zeven Provincien. Pride of the Dutch Navy in the 1960ties.

Thank you for your kind words! It was a rare sight, the last artillery cruiser in service.
During 2003 I regularly visited Callao, but only once saw ALMIRANTE GRAU in the outer road of Callao.
