Description:

Great Eastern Maritime Co. Ltd. of Hong Kong's 1952 Smith's Dock, Middlesbrough, built bulk carrier MONTEREY, which was converted from a tanker in 1960, departing from the Kiel Canal at Brunsbüttel in the early morning of 24th August 1975 during a voyage from Szczecin to a port east of Suez.
