Description:
P&Os Alex Stephen 1953 built turbine steamer PATONGA passing Portishead outbound, probably during the summer of 1967.
She was an odd one out in the P&O fleet, her design being based on Federal's 1949 built DORSET.
She was renamed STRATHLAUDER in 1975 and broken up at Gadani Beach in October 1977
I think the people in the small boat are in for a rough ride when PATONGA's bow wave arrives.
