Description:

The 1944 Portland, Oregon, built bulk carrier NORTHERN EAGLE, which was converted from a T2-SE-A1 type tanker at Emden in 1962, transiting the Bosphorus southbound during a voyage from Constantza to Tampico via Piraeus.

NORTHERN EAGLE, owned by Th.L.Teryazos of Piraeus from 1959, was laid up at Piraeus from 7th April 1976 until sent to breakers at Sveti Kajo, near, BU Split, in October 1978.
