Description:

P. & O. General Cargo Division (formerly Hain-Nourse Ltd and Hain S.S. Co.)'s 1961 J.Readhead, South Shields, built TREFUSIS arriving at Liverpool on the early morning ebb tide of 10th May 1974, exactly fifty years ago today, to load cargo for Basrah.

Later: 1975: renamed STRATHTEVIOT
Later: 1978: sold and renamed EVIA, owned by Olistim Navigation Company of Greece.
20.8.1980: Arrived at Basrah from Havana.
On the outbreak of hostilities in September 1980, she was trapped in the Shatt Al Arab Waterway and subsequently abandoned.
26.7.1993: Towed out of Basrah for scrapping at Gadani Beach as HORIZON
