The latest of the new Tamar-class boats to enter service. The RNLB Mark Mason (16-11) is seen here on one of her first training exercises at Poole on 19/02/09. Once fully operational she will go to her station at Tenby in Pembrokeshire where she will replace the Tyne-class RNLB RFA Sir Galahad (47-010) which has been apparently sold to China SAR.
