Description:

Taken in January 1978 while north bound on the US east coast to Boston, Mass. Got caught in the storm well known in New England as the "Blizzard of 78".

Was her mast cut down in size? Or was it always that short?

I don't think so, both of her sisters the Mobil Fuel and the Mobil Power were the same. The Vacuum, Gas, Lube, Power, and Fuel all had a small forward cargo hold and booms to service them. By the time I joined the company they were long out of use, and the holds used for storage.
