Description:
Photographed passing Portishead on 1st August 1963, inbound for Avonmouth for the last time, is Bristol City Line's 1946 Readhead built BIRMINGHAM CITY, purchased in 1950 from Barberry's SS Co Ltd who had operated her BASKERVILLE.
She sailed from Avonmouth for the Far East on 23rd August 1963 in unchanged colours as SEMPORNA BAY, becoming VICTORIA BAY in 1965 and finally arriving at Hong Kong on 10.8.69 to be broken up.
