VICTORIA BAY, owned by Kinabatangan Shipping Co Ltd of Hong Kong was formerly Bristol City Line's 1946 Readhead built BIRMINGHAM CITY, purchased in 1950 from Barberry's S.S. Co. Ltd. which had operated her BASKERVILLE. BIRMINGHAM CITY had arrived at Avonmouth for the last time on 1st August 1963 and was then sold to Kinabatangan Shipping Co Ltd . As SEMPORNA BAY, she sailed from Avonmouth for the Far East on 23rd August 1963 in unchanged colours.

She was renamed VICTORIA BAY in 1965 and finally arriving at Hong Kong on 10.8.69 to be broken up.
