Description:

The badly damaged tanker Emmenthal being towed through the Strait of Hormuz on her way to Gadani Beach for scrapping. She had been struck by an Iraqi missile in May 84 south of Kharg Island. I didn't record the exact date I took the photograph, however, the processing date on the slide is Jun 87.
